Stirring

Mixers for paint, adhesive, filler, render and screed — built for sustained torque at low speed, which is exactly where a drill pressed into service as a stirrer burns out. The range runs from a universal 1000 W machine handling batches up to about 40 litres, through 1200 W, to a twin-paddle 1600 W for the heaviest work. The rod matters as much as the machine. The HS 2 spiral suits stiff material that still flows — tile adhesive, jointing compound, adhesive mortar, ready-mixed plaster, screed. The HS 3 handles genuinely heavy, high-viscosity mixes: mortar, concrete, cement and lime plaster. Rods come in 120, 140 and 160 mm to match the machine, in left- and right-hand spirals, and ERGOFIX adapters cover the common shank fittings.
