Sliding compound mitre saws, corded and cordless, in two sizes. The smaller is the one most second-fix work wants — light enough to move around a site, accurate enough for architrave and skirting. The larger takes up to 120 mm in its extended mitre position, cuts strip vertically against the stop, and holds crown moulding at its true wall angle rather than making you calculate a compound setting. Sets pair the saw with an underframe, which matters more than it sounds: a mitre saw at working height with support either side is a different tool from the same saw on the floor.
