Attachments that make a belt sander controllable. The sanding frame surrounds the belt and rides on the workpiece, limiting how deep it can bite — so the machine levels rather than gouges. Sanding bases change the platen: graphite-faced for low friction and long belt life, cork where a softer contact suits the material.
